Christina Haack Home

Christina Haack is a real estate investor and television personality. She became famous alongside her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, on the HGTV series ‘Flip of Flop.’ The former couple began appearing on the house flipping series while they were still married, and Haack was called Christina El Moussa. Following their divorce, they remained in a business partnership with each other and continued to appear in the series together. In addition to appearing in ‘Flip or Flop’, Christina Haack also has her own series on HGTV called ‘Christina on the Coast.’ The series is about Haack buying, renovating, and then selling houses in Southern California. After her divorce from Tarek El Moussa, with whom Haack has two children, Christina Haack married English television presenter Ant Anstead. Haack and Anstead had one son together, Hudson London Anstead. Unfortunately, the relationship did not last, and they divorced in June 2021, which led to Haack reverting to her maiden name. Now that she is newly single, Christina Haack is moving on with her life in the way that she knows best by buying herself a new home. The property she has chosen is a $10. 3 million mansion in Dana Point, California.

An Overview of Christina Haack’s New Home

Following their divorce, Anstead and Haack sold their $5.4 million Newport Beach home. Around the same time, Haack bought herself a $2.5 million vacation property in Nashville. Now, the reality star has bought herself a family home for herself and her three children. The home she has chosen is in a guard-gated community in Dana Point, California. The community is called The Strand at Headlands, and it consists of around 45 custom-built properties. It is a five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom property that measures 6,081-square-feet and sits on a plot of 0.26-acres. The elevated position of the home means there are views across the surrounding area. Haack has paid $10.3 million for the mansion, which was built on speculation in 2021. While this may seem a lot of money, it is less than the average price paid for properties in this community, which is around $13.5 million. Therefore, Haack has got herself a real estate bargain.

The Interior of the Dana Point Mansion

According to Dirt.com, there are designer details and exquisite craftsmanship throughout the property. The listing also describes the standard of the finish as being no expense spared. In the main living area, there is an open-plan layout in the form of an expansive great room that has white walls and wooden flooring. The great room has two white vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams above the living room section. One wall in the living room is covered in stone that surrounds a large fireplace. To the other side of the great room is a large chef’s kitchen that has both white and wooden cabinetry. It is fitted with high-end appliances, such as Wolff, and offers ample storage and countertop space. There are two islands in the kitchen. One has a split-level countertop with white marble on the higher section surrounding a large sink, and the lower sections at either end of the island have wooden countertops.

The other kitchen island is slimmer, and it has white drawers on the lower section and a wooden countertop. Through from the kitchen is a formal dining area that can easily accommodate an eight-seat dining suite. Like the living area, it has a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. There are large windows on three walls, so there are views across the Pacific Ocean and across the garden. Some other entertainment rooms in this house include a home movie theater and a games room with a pool table. The designers of the property also thought beyond leisure time to a potential owner’s professional life, as there is a private home office. Upstairs, there is a master retreat that was described in the listing as the owner’s suite. In this large bedroom, there is a fireplace and sliding glass doors that give views out to the Pacific Ocean. It also has a bespoke closet where Christina Haack can store all her clothes and accessories and a spa-style ensuite bathroom.

The Exterior of Haack’s Property

From the exterior, the property has a boxy, contemporary appearance, with the addition of some quasi-Tuscan touches that give the house a Mediterranean feel. The house is set on the side of the street, although passing traffic and footfall is not an issue due to it being in a guard-gated community. To one side of the front yard, there is a driveway that can accommodate two cars. There is also a four-car attached garage for secure parking. A short wall and some shrubbery in front of the two-story house separates the building from the street. At the property’s rear, there is a dining terrace enclosed in a greenhouse-style structure where Haack can entertain guests and enjoy the views out to the Pacific Ocean. There is also a paved terrace area to the rear of the house, which provides further space for entertaining.

As with most mansions in California, there is the obligatory swimming pool in the backyard. It has a geometric shape and a separate spa area. The pool is elevated and surrounded by a stone wall, and it is accessed via stone steps from the terraced area. From the pool, there are ocean and hillside views. Another feature of the rear yard is the firepit. Although there are plenty of features to enjoy in the backyard, it is not the only outdoor space available. There is also a rooftop terrace that has a large entertaining space and a fireplace to keep warm on cooler evenings. Furthermore, the residents of this gated community have access to a private beach club, which is a 9,000-square-foot building. Within this club, there is a fitness center, a swimming pool, an open lounge, and a staffed bar. However, the best feature of the club is the direct access to a residents-only beach.
