16. “Fantasy Island” house

The six year series “Fantasy Island” was a weekly television show that starred Ricardo Montalban as Roarke, the handsome yet mysterious host of the getaway resort. The real name of the Victorian cottage and coach bard in the series is the “Queen Anne Cottage and Coach Barn.” They are located at Baldwin Lake which is within the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden in Arcadia. In case you were wondering, Arcadia is in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California. The home is on the national register of historic places. It was built in 1879 and served as the filming location for the show.
