Zedd’s Self-Decorated, 9,400-Square-Foot Beverly Hills Home
The Russian-German record producer, DJ, and multi-instrumental and songwriter, Anton Zaslavski, who goes by Zedd as a stage name, was born in September of 1989, and he has recently allowed Architectural Digest take a tour of his 9,400 square foot home that is located in Beverly Hills on Benedict Canyon Drive. This is a home that has been self-decorated and has a few very unique features, such as an olive tree inside the home sitting in an atrium, as well as his own Skittles machine. Yep, a Skittles machine that allows him to indulge any time he wants, day or night. His art collection is something he loves to show off, and he talked proudly about it during the tour.
Zedd has a love of the outdoors, which is what inspired him to bring some of the outdoor in, with the fig tree and waterfall that are some of the most impressive features, along with the very high wooden ceilings, and floor-to ceiling windows that allow unobstructed views of the canyons around him. He says it gives the home the warmth that he thinks all homes should have. He is also a big fan of the modern décor theme, with its slick, sharp corners and clean placement of objects. He is a believer in how you position and stage everything, creating a very symmetrical atmosphere in the home.
Zedd shows off his kitchen with the industrial style stove and range hood, and is proud of his pot filler that hangs on the wall behind the range. It’s one of those, must-haves, if you love to cook. He also points out the built-in vacuum that allows you to easily sweep away crumbs into the central vac collector, if you just happen to drop anything on the floor. AD follows Zedd through the house checks out the patios that overlook the amazing canyon views, as well as the studio part of the home that also houses a gym on the top floor. He’s got everything he needs all in one location. And when I say everything, I mean everything. Zedd is currently working on creating a “Costco” room that stocks everything he uses so that he eventually “won’t” have to leave his home.
When it comes to retiring at the end of the day, Zedd has a beautiful master bedroom to retreat to that comes inclusive with more surrounding canyon views, a beautiful stone fireplace, and electric drawn curtains that he says are a must in order to make the room completely dark so he can sleep. In the morning, he likes to wander out to his private patio and have his coffee while overlooking the sunrise over the canyon. It’s an undeniably amazing home, and to see more of this incredible mansion, here are some pictures from the inside and out of Zedd’s self-decorated, 9,400-square-foot Beverly hills home.
