YouTube Star Rosanna Pansino’s Flipped $3.5 Million Home
If you’re a fan of Rosanna Pansino, you’ll already be familiar with her stunning LA home. If you’re not and you simply want to check out where 30-something millionaires live these days, you’re in luck. Having spent the past few years dazzling her YouTube fans with glimpses of her sprawling pad in the Tarzana area of L.A.’s San Fernando Valley, Pansino has now moved on to pastures new. And thanks to the listing pictures, we get to take a look inside.
YouTube Star Rosanna Pansino’s Home
Pansino and her partner Mike Lamond bought their Tarzana property back in the summer of 2016. Despite the fact Tarzana isn’t exactly the most popular of celeb hangouts, the price was still hefty – a whopping $3.825 million in total. Consisting of over 5,800 square feet and boasting five-bedrooms and seven-bathrooms, the 2-story property received a stunning transformation with the help of Amazon Home in 2017. Pansino promptly uploaded a video tour of her home to show off its new look to her YouTube followers. As proof of her popularity (or maybe just our noisiness), the video has now received over 6 million views.
The Main Level
As Dirt notes, after entering the house by way of the front porch, an entrance hall leads you to a cozy living room featuring luxurious but comfortable sofas, a huge TV, and an area rug. Considering she’s best known for her baking skills, it’s no surprise that the kitchen is very much the heart of the home. The cavernous space, which boasts two huge Italian Calacatta marble-topped islands, has featured so often in Pansino’s videos, it’s become as familiar to her fans as their own kitchens. After moving in, Pansino added a few of her own touches, including additional storage cupboards and an enormous Viking refrigerator. Leading off from the kitchen is a spacious pantry with two extra ovens and an extra sink. The main level is completed by a large family room with a pool table and a gorgeous sunroom with a very impressive looking hand-carved table and bench.
The Second Story
Tucked away on the second story are five spacious bedrooms and a library/ lounge combo with a private balcony. The master suite is a stunning affair with his-and-hers closets, a marble fireplace, and a huge master bathroom with a walk-in glass rainfall shower, a soaking tub, and its own fireplace.
The Yard
Surrounding the house is a resort-style backyard with manicured hedges, a bubbling fountain, a large pool with spa, and a 400-square-foot cabana with a lounging area, TV, and fireplace.
The Sale
Despite its stunning features, it took Pansino less than two years to tire of her Tarzana home. As Dirt writes, she and her partner first tried to offload it back in 2018 for the hefty sum of $4.25 million. Whether it was the astronomical price tag to blame or the fact that celebrity houses are traditionally a nightmare to sell, who knows? Either way, it got no interest. After languishing on the market for months, Pansino quietly withdrew it from sale. When she decided the time was ripe to try again, we don’t know. The property was never re-listed, but according to online records, it sold in an off-market deal this January for $3.512 million, representing a $300,000 loss on Pansino’s initial investment.
Moving On
Pansino has wasted no time finding herself a new home. She’s already splashed out $6 million on a brand new home in the very exclusive neighborhood of Sherman Oaks in the San Fernando Valley. According to Yahoo Entertainment (www.yahoo.com/entertainment/embattled-youtuber-james-charles-leases-025344303.html), the San Fernando Valley has always attracted more than its fair share of YouTubers, with the result that Pansino can now call Jenna Marbles, Jake and Logan Paul, Eva Gutowski, Jeffree Star, and Shane Dawson neighbors. Her new home, which is described as a ‘Modern Farmhouse,’ occupies a little under half an acre. Boasting five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, it’s a majestic (but still homely) collection of soaring ceilings, nine-foot tall doorways, and cavernous fireplaces.
Judging by the number of videos she’s uploaded of her new home, Pansino is clearly besotted. Little wonder. The star attraction has to be the kitchen, which features sparkling white cabinetry, wide-plank oak floorboards, gray and white veined marble countertops, and more high-end appliances than you can count. The already stunning dining room is made extra special thanks to the addition of a wine cabinet tucked away behind a glass wall. Other standouts include a suede-lined home theater and a family room that extends to the backward via a disappearing wall of glass. The exterior is just as impressive as the interior. A screen of mature trees keeps things nicely private. Terraces lead to a pale blue swimming pool and spa while the addition of a fire pit and poolside cabana makes it the perfect venue for entertaining.
The Owner
If you haven’t heard of Pansino, you soon will. The creator of the family-friendly cooking program ‘Nerdy Nummies’ has already managed to collect 12.7 million subscribers and over 3.2 billion views across her various YouTube channels, and her star is still rising. In 2016, Forbes voted the diminutive 4ft 10-inch star the 5th highest paid YouTuber of the year. Since then, she’s amassed even more subscribers and even more millions. According to the latest estimates of Celebrity Net Worth (www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/actors/rosanna-pansino-net-worth/), the 35-year-old is now worth around $9 million.
In addition to her YouTube activities (which are said to bring in $6 million per year), Pansino has found time to star on the TV shows “Broken Quest’ (2013) and ‘Emo Dad’ (2016). She can also claim producing rights to the TV series ‘Ro’s Life.’ So far, she’s been nominated for seven Streamy Awards and two Shorty Awards, one of which she won. She also won the title of ‘Kikkoman Breakout Foodies of the Year’ at the 2015 Taste Awards. Other ventures include a line of baking wear released in collaboration with Wilton and two cookbooks, ‘The Nerdy Nummies Cookbook’ (2015) and ‘Baking All Year Round’ (2018). In 2018, Pansino announced that she was dating Mike ‘Husky’ Lamond, an ex-esports commentator who works alongside Pansino on ‘Nerdy Nummies.’ A year later, she revealed the pair had actually been dating in secret for 6 years. Since then, marriage rumors have circulated, but so far, the pair are keeping mum.
