American actress Michelle Gellar and her husband, American actor and producer Freddie Prinze, Jr., are sold their 1991 traditional style Bel-Air home that they purchased together for $2.45 million in 2001. The gorgeous home sits behind a gate and is a five bedroom, 4.5 bath home that boasts 7,620 square feet of living space and sits on close to a half acre of land. Inside the home are lots of great features that you’d expect to find for this kind of money, including its own personal gym, sun room, multiple fireplaces in an array of rooms, a spectacular swimming pool and outdoor patio area. You are probably familiar with this Hollywood duo and you take a peek into their former grand home.

The gorgeous, picturesque backyard and patio area features a spectacular stone-lined swimming pool and spa, along with waterfalls, and a Barbecue area for those warm grilling nights with family and friends. How can you not fell relaxed when you have this view? The mountains are in view off in the distance, and gorgeous mature landscape surrounds you to give you all the privacy you could want. I’m sure this view will be missed when they are no longer living in the home

The breathtaking gold-decor dining room is designed with elegant touches throughout, from the beautiful printed wallpaper and floor-to-ceiling windows that are dressed with heavy, elegant gold drapes. A traditional style, dark-wood dining table with six high-back cloth chairs is showcased in the middle of the dining room, while an elegant mirror hangs flawlessly between two wall sconces above a buffet on the far wall.

The Gellar, Prinze, Jr.’s living room is warm and welcoming, not only due to the warm colors and cozy set-up, but the focal point, white marble-faced fireplace warms up the room with its charm and beauty. The couple chose neutral tones for the entire room, including the furnishings, the neutral toned curtains, and area rug. The over-sized, low-sitting coffee table is the middle ground for the dual sofas that quaintly face each other for better conversation flow.

Who wouldn’t want to spend time in this beautiful study that boasts soft leather chairs, recessed lighting over the bay window, and wood-paneled walls to give the room a rich look. The wall of windows overlooks a back deck and are fitted with fold-up curtains. The wall of built-in shelves and mobile ladder complete the study.

The white kitchen with dark marble counter tops and stainless steel appliances are a beautiful contrast and make the kitchen feel warm, open, and airy. A set of windows open up over the sink to let in the fresh air and scenery while you cook and clean up after meals. The dining area sits adjacent to the kitchen with more window views of the property.

The couple has spectacular taste in decor, with a stunning piece of art or decor item at every turn. One of the most eye-catching displays is the long four-drawer dark wood entry or sofa table with a beautiful flower and plant arrangement positioned in the middle, just under four horizontally hanging pieces of art hanging above. The table and hardwoods work well together, each complimenting the other.

The master bedroom is one of the rooms where you’ll find another fireplace, perfect for warming up and getting cozy on a chilly fall or winter night. A sitting area is situated right in front of the fireplace, the perfect place to relax with a warm cup of tea or good book. The flooring is a neutral tone carpeting that makes the room feel relaxed and welcoming at the end of the day.

In the master bath, the hardwoods give the bath a spa-like look and feel. The long vanity gives you plenty of room to do what you need to do without bumping elbows, and there is definitely plenty of storage with all the drawers and cupboards below. A roomy walk-in shower with glass door is positioned on the opposite side of the bathroom, opposite the vanity, and a large window opens up the bathroom with light and beautiful views of the property’s landscape.

How cute is this room? The simple design is very boyish, and very patriotic with the primary colors being different hues of red, white, and blue. Three small, simple pictures of airplanes and matching table lamps on each nightstand. The use of multiple patterns for the bedding are beautifully intertwined to give it a visual appeal and make the bed the focal point of the room.

A little girl’s dream room, this room was painted a light neutral color and the furnishings contrast with the wall color perfectly with a cream and subtle pink combo. The wrap around built-in shelving unit is a great addition to the room. It’s not only functional, but under the slightly bayed set of windows is a great way to add character to the room. What little girl wouldn’t love to have such a special place to keep all of her favorite toys and books right at her fingertips?

When you have a walk-in closet like this, there’s no way you’re going to be lacking for a place to keep your sweaters. This closet is not only huge, but it’s simple and elegant with beautiful hardwoods and a chandelier for optimal lighting when it comes to picking the perfect outfit. The spacious closet is loaded with wall-to-wall wardrobes and a huge center island with marble top that does not skimp on drawers for storing all your accessories.
