Marc Anthony’s Casa de Campo Resort in the Dominican Republic

The Outdoor Bar

Also set in a covered pavilion, the outdoor bar has a thatched roof accented by umbrella light fixtures. The bar, as well as the screens hanging as walls, was constructed by local craftsmen using local mahogany wood. Comfy club chairs, as well as a painting by Fernando Varela, a Uruguayan artist, that shouldn’t be mistaken for the world-class opera singer by the same name, complete the low key room. Marc is obviously a fan of his work because he has several other of the artist’s pieces hanging in the main house.

Another Entertainment Pavilion

There is definitely no shortage of outdoor pavilions on the property that offer the perfect respite from the Caribbean sun. Just like many of the others, this pavilion has a thatched roof and lacquered sapele wood wall screens that partially enclose it, along with multiple sitting areas. Umbrella light fixtures that look exactly like those in the bar are also hung in here, while a Buddhist stone statue sits on one of the tables below.
