Nick Swinmurn is a serial entrepreneur who is best known as the founder of Zappos.com. Although he is originally from the UK, Swinmurn grew up in California, which is still his home today. Although he left the company in 1998, his time at Autoweb.com inspired Swinmurn to start his own company. The first company founded by Swinmurn was Shoesite.com in 1999, and this company later became Zappos.com. Although the living room has a light and airy feel thanks to the large windows and neutral walls, it also has a cozy atmosphere thanks to the huge stone fireplace. The structure also has the potential for many other uses if Swinmurn does not use it as a guest house, such as a home office or a gym.
