The Top 20 Cities in the United States To Retire In

5. Pompano Beach, Florida

Pompano is a nice retirement option for the elderly because of the warm weather, beaches and slow-paced lifestyle. It is warm in the winter and has many city beaches to choose from, as well as parks, which give retirees outdoor options. The Hillsboro Lighthouse is a local landmark on the beach and the Goodyear Blimp calls Pompano home in the winter. Although Pompano is not as affluent as some of the other neighboring cities, it is still a highly preferred retirement spot.
