Adele’s Los Angeles Home is Pretty Impressive

Many people who achieve a high level of wealth opt to have properties in several locations for both professional and leisure purposes. Like many successful music artists before her, Adele has decided to own homes on both sides of the Atlantic. The British songstress already has a residence in London and she has now purchased a stunning property in Los Angeles. Not wanting to stray too far from her roots when she splashed out $9.5 million, the four-bedroom Beverley Hills house she chose has a very English country cottage style.

Her new home is approached through a double gated entrance and a substantial driveway lined with trees. On entering the property, there is a vast hallway with an open staircase topped with a surrounding balcony on the first floor. The ceiling of the hallway is full height to the property, giving the entrance area an impression of even greater space. The white walls and wooden flooring make this room feel warm and welcoming.

The main living area of the house is a calm and relaxing space for Adele to unwind. Decorated in a neutral color scheme, this airy room is filled with light from the large windows and the French doors that open out onto the gardens. Splashes of color are added to the room with the soft furnishings, including an aqua colored sofa and pretty cushions. The focal point of the room is the large open fireplace, above which is a colorful painting.

The kitchen-diner is equally stunning and spacious. It is flooded with light from the French doors at the dining end of the room and the high modern, white beams on the ceiling reflect more light back into this all-white room. The centerpiece of this room is the large island that is used as the work area of the kitchen and the dining end of the room features a large dining suite above which there is a beautiful chandelier. This expansive room has wooden flooring throughout and leads through to the sitting room.

The downstairs of this property also has some additional rooms with various purposes. For example, there is a large office that offers a practical work area and a wine cellar for wine connoisseurs to keep their favorite tipple.

Continuing upstairs, there is even more space for relaxation as the large landing includes a snug area with views out over the garden. The most impressive room on the first floor is the master bedroom. This has vaulted ceilings, French doors leading on to a private balcony, and wooden floors just like the rest of the house. The walls are painted a pretty lilac and the bed is dressed in crisp.

Just like the main living area, the open fireplace is a focal point in this room and several pieces of artwork add additional points of interest. Opposite the bed is a huge window with furniture on either side that offers both an area for storage and a place to keep books and mementos on display.

This bathroom of Adele’s Los Angeles home is fairly impressive in terms of its size. Just like the rest of the house, light is a key feature as is the wooden floor. The color scheme of the bedroom continues in this room and the modern look is offset with a traditional style rug beneath a chaise lounge. The double shower and large vanity area add touches of luxury to this room.

Calm and relaxation are themes throughout the house and these continue in the gorgeous 17,000 square-feet garden. The paved area around the pool is all about socializing and leisure time as there is a gazebo, outdoor dining suite, and a large treehouse in the trees surrounding this section of the garden. There are areas around the pool for sun worshippers and areas beneath the trees that offer a little more shade. Beyond this area are beautifully manicured gardens and mature trees.
