He’s known for his “hillbilly-rock” style of music, and “shock” lyrics, and has had his share of times being under scrutiny with the media, primarily due to relationships, including a short-lived marriage with actress and model Pamela Anderson, and run-ins with the law. Kid Rock was born Robert James Ritchie and is a native of Detroit, Michigan. His looks may be a bit grungy and rough around the edges, but to look at his mansion, you’d never know he would choose such a sophisticated and elegant as the home he owned and later sold. The mansion was purchased by Kid Rock in 2006 for $11.6 million.
