Situated in Paris, France, this apartment interior design was designed by h20 architects. The client of this project was a collector of comics so the designers thought that it would be great if they could integrate his passion into a cool, sunny and quiet design. The original space was 60 m2 large, with a fuzzy geometry and noisy compartmentalized.
The new design provides a continuous and large department, which becomes more complex or dense depending on the functions of the intended space. Most functions are accommodated in the geometry of the wall. The walls feature a series of niches and cavities to house the extensive collection of comics, a bar, a bathroom, closet, and so on. The cavities may be hosting various objects, transformed into a wall of memories, stories, which is renewed in time.
Eliminating most of the walls, access, living, dining and kitchen are connected visually, expanding the space.
