The Variety Of Materials Used In House Duk Meyersdal Makes It So Chic

One just can’t get bored walking around in this huge residence. House Duk Meyersdal is another great project by Nico van der Meulen Architects. Most of the rooms have views to the garden, while the living area at the ground floor is open to the outdoor. As the clients requested, the project needed to be spacious and connected to the outdoor wood deck bordered with stone. A comfortable couch and soft chairs are set around a small table on which there’s a fire feature, contrasting perfect with the pool nearby.

The multitude of materials and decorative elements used do nothing but adding sophistication and good looks to the whole home. Keeping a neutral palette, that does nothing but emphasizing the extraordinary pieces that form the superb interior design. Take the elegant bathroom with wood insertions for example. It’s not enough that is a fireplace near the bathtub, but there are also white stones from where the flames come out. And things like these really differentiate homes like this one.
