Chinese Evergreens help purify the air and they are easy to maintain. There are several different varieties available. They do best in well drained soil and low to medium indirect light. They thrive best in humid locations and temperature must be 60 degrees or above. Drafts are detrimental to the plant. The soil should be allowed to dry in between watering. Fertilize this plant every six months. The plant might be toxic to people, dogs and cats.
