Stunning Floating House By Robert Nebolon Architects

Robert Nebolon Architects has designed this modern floating home located on the Mission Creek River in San Francisco, California. Although the exterior is pretty much blended in the docks area, having a more industrial look, what’s inside is completely different. The blue of the exterior façade has nothing to do with the clean interior style where insertions of wood from the floors and furniture match with the white of the walls.

The strictness of the kitchen, abounded by grey and metallic materials is soften by the living and dining area, being more warm and welcoming and having a little bit of a rustic approach with the chairs and tables that look raw, like the wood was not processed completely. It would have been pity not to take advantage of what’s around the house, so the floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass wall leading to the terrace capture amazing river views.
