Stockholm Duplex Alternates Intimacy With Open Spaces

In the center of the city, a lovely Stockholm duplex takes over the last two floors and the attic of a building, making a seven room home spread on a generous space of 340 square meters. Considering the colder weather in the North Europe, the apartment inspires so much warmth, inviting to relaxation in a cozy decor.

The open plan living area at the first level consists of a living room, kitchen, dining room and a very roomy bedroom. A fireplace warms us the atmosphere even more, with such a rustic look given by the firewood stored right next to it. The light tones in the furnishings, floors and curtains contrast with the elegant look of the black framed windows and black doors.

At the second floor, right near the staircase, an intimate place is created due to the relatively small room, soft seatings. And the attic is put to a good use, too, hosting three bedrooms and a library. But the best part is, in my opinion, the moment when it starts snowing and the little open terrace gets covered in a white soft layer of the winter.
