Real Or Not? The Drawing Furniture Series

Drawing-Furniture-Series-4

I don’t think I’m wrong when saying that all of us used to draw stuff when we were kids. I enjoyed reproducing everything that hit my eyes, including furniture, and my drawings were pretty good actually – or at least that’s what I like to think. While having drawings of furniture in mind, try to imagine that those average, child made scribbles would actually project themselves into real life furniture. That’s what Korean furniture designer and artist Jin il Park did. From the pictures, you’ll be given the impression that you’re looking at some hand-made drawings did in a hurry, without putting any effort to it. Well, you’ll be wrong, as these are pieces of real furniture made from wire. Yeap, that’s right, the artist managed to materialize his sketches and create a functional collection of furniture that consists in two chairs, two lamps and one table. I can’t tell from the pictures if the chairs are actually comfortable, but I’m sure of one thing: this collection is awesome and I would love to have at least one of the pieces from the Drawing furniture series in my room.
