In Victoria 73 House Every Day Feels Like Vacation

The architects at SAOTA managed to take over an old house and build another one that treats with respect the magnificent landscape surrounding. Victoria 73 residence in Cape Town, South Africa is a contemporary home for a young family that has now the opportunity to experience an outdoor lifestyle.

First of all it had to fulfill the family’s needs and so, the living room, dining room and kitchen are all gathered in the same place and another living area is reserved for entertainment. But maybe the most impressive part of this house is the pool terrace. From there, you can sit and enjoy the spectacular views over the ocean. From there, it’s like you’re on vacation every day, except it’s not. How cool is that?

Colors remain in earthy tones, with white all over the terrace and contrasts of black inside the house, through decoration pieces or furniture. Wood, also, predominates all over the place. In the living area there are leather couches and an interesting fact in the master bedroom is the wall behind the bed, covered also in leather.

Paintings on the walls and sculptures reinforce the modernness of Victoria 73 and bring a total new dynamic inside the home.
