House The – Chill By The Pool In The Sound Of A Waterfall

House The is a renovation project of Johanesburg-based office Nico van der Mulen Architects. Located somewhere in South Africa, the residence offers views from everywhere, especially since the ground floor is pretty much open to the outdoor area.

But more than that the ambitious project wanted to take advantage of the whole space, so most of the interior walls have been removed, creating a large social area with invisible boundaries. Yet, each space is well delimitated. Monochromatic interiors have been furnished in similar and contrast colors. We see that green predominates, coming with a fresh vibe.

The architecture is grandiose. In the rear part, the sound of the water appears through the small cascade pouring into the infinity-edge pool. Getting up in the morning and hearing the sound of nature is possible, as the balcony at the upper level opens directly to the bedroom through sliding doors.
