In the middle of Miran, Italy, stands the House M, a project by Monovolume Architecture + Design. A two story house, with a stunning pool in the backyard – this already sounds like classic. But like any other residences, this one has its uniqueness, too, differentiating from the rest. Overall, House M looks already impressive, but getting some close-ups means truly seeing its greatness and how the architects played with volumes, solid and transparent surfaces to provide such a modern look.
The refined arrangement of the pool melts together the outdoor with the indoor spaces. An all white interior makes it a little bit hard distinguishing each elements. Some splashes of gray invade the living room, being the only break in this whole white scenario. An unusual thing is the floor to ceiling window in the bathroom. Yet, as privacy is important in there, curtains cover them up whenever it is needed to. And the wall with big bottles of perfume exposed is a very intriguing choise.
