House In The Woods Integrating Into The Scenery By Pad Studio

This house in the woods, near the New Forest National Park, in United Kingdom was designed by PAD Studio. It is set on a site of 18.5 acre and it was built so that it doesn’t have a strong impact upon the natural surroundings. And the house fits perfectly into the landscape, especially having a wood façade.

The structure of the house is a little bit elevated on some wooden decks, as there’s natural lake that the clients have requested. Beside this, they also wanted a rain water collector and grey water recycling. Also, the materials that have been used are durable and in perfect harmony with the natural setting.

The interiors are modernly arranged, having simple and elegant layouts, taking advantage of the panoramic landscape through floor to ceiling windows that reflect the outdoor beauty. Wood features have been included here, too, not only for the floorings and furniture, but for the walls, as well, as it can be seen in the bedroom.
