Haus Wiesenhof Is The Perfect Refuge In The Mountains

In St. Johann, Tirol, Austria, a lovely contemporary house was created in 2012 by Gogl Architekten using rustic materials to minimize the impact on the natural surroundings. It’s a getaway location for the client, a place where peace comes inevitable and where the nature brings inspiring thoughts.

Having the imposing mountains in the back and a natural lake to complete the picture perfect setting, Haus Wiesenhof conquers our interest from the first seconds we see its façade. But the interior is not to be neglected at all. Wood insertions in the floors and ceilings, fireplace to warm up the atmosphere and sliding glass walls leading to outdoor terraces are few of the things to make this house a perfect mountain refuge.

And it’s not even winter. Imagine the white picture, with everything covered in snow and looking at the magnificent scenery sitting comfortable around the burning fireplace.
