If you’re from the Flower Power generation or you’re just a modern age hippie, you’ll enjoy this presentation. Because today, I will show you the Guido Hager Apartment, a residence that breathes love, peace and sweet harmony, just like that song from The Beloved. Actually, Sweet Harmony is the best thing I can think of to describe the Guido Hager residence. Since it belongs to a landscape architect living in Berlin-Germany, you would expect to see something very modern, with lots of plants. But in reality, this house looks just like a museum and lacks the greenery anyone would’ve expected to find in a landscape architect’s home, being very elegant and actually quite sober here and there. However, this “serious” appearance contrasts pleasantly with the splashes of color given by some of the unique decorations. The choice of furnishings and fittings and the elegant and well thought space give you an impression of peace, order and a sense of well being. There are some interesting pictures on the walls that will immediately capture your attention and come as great accessories for the overall solemn design, being in a perfect harmony with each other, despite their very different style and aspect.
