The Collingwood Chalet Offers A Relaxing Retreat From The Regular Busy Lifestyle

As I was speaking about vacations in sunny and warm places in my previous posts, I think it wouldn’t be fair to forget about the beauty of enjoying a location that offers a wonderful experience while going through all four seasons, especially when it’s cold and snowy. The one that I chose today is the Collingwood Chalet, a weekend retreat designed for their own pleasure by two architects from CS&P Architects.

The place that holds their little escape place offers the possibility of skiing, hiking, golfing or cycling during different times of the year. The house features an open plan design that receives the natural environment inside and allows the place to be bathed in sunlight. The rich use of wood adds warmth to the atmosphere, making the interior feel welcoming and cozy. The traditional barn appearance of the home is mixed nicely with modern elements, making it look like a stylish, contemporary vacation home.
