A Beautiful Residence Embraced By Nature: The Forest House

The team of architects and designers from McClellan Architects have recently finished the Forest House, a private contemporary residence situated in Seattle, Washington, USA. As it name suggests, this impressive and sophisticated home sits in a beautiful place near the forest, knowing only the vicinity of trees and nature. Its design has been thought as being in complete harmony with the surroundings, so both the home’s exterior and interior feature wooden elements, the most important ones being the cedar façade and the furniture or ceilings.

The interior of the residence is welcoming due to its warm, cheerful design which is based on a palette of colors based on brown and beige shades, matching with the aforementioned woody apparel. The home is already remarkably spacious, but seems to be even larger due to its big windows that allow a significant amount of natural light to enter and fall inside the big and modern looking rooms.
