Beautiful Pass Residence In The Unfriendly Desert

In harsh and aggressive environment, where lack of vegetation is a constant because of the desert, Pass Residence breaks the monotony with a suggestive architecture and interiors. The house is located in Scottsdale, Arizona and it is a successful project by Tate Studio Architects. It features just one single level, with a plain roof and floor to ceiling windows for enlightening of the rooms while conferring wonderful views of the panoramic landscape outside.

Concrete is used as the primary element in the architecture of the house, with lots of stone accents, too, resembling a lot with the earthy tone predominant scenery. On one hand, to make the desert heat more bearable, an infinity-edge pool is set in the back, while, on the other side, indoor and outdoor fireplaces are ready to warm up the extreme cold nights.
