Allies Farm By Timber Design Preserves WWII History

Home-by-Timber-Design-1

This is a building has military history, as it was used for the USA’s Air Force during War World II. Today, this home is called Allies Farm. Located in Essex, the place tries to come with a fresh, contemporary style, with the help of Timber Design team, commissioned for this project.

Some of the great details have been restored and highlighted, like the exterior lines or skylights. It has a rustic appearance, with white walls and stone floorings. The furnishings are kind of barn like and they matching everything mentioned before.

The most important and biggest areas are the living room and the kitchen with the integrated dining area. In the opposite side, three bedrooms (including the master bedroom and the children’s bedroom) and a bathroom can be found. The exterior is covered in wood, keeping this rustic character for the interior as well, having visible wood beams and big wooden framed windows that let the natural light in.
