Stylish, Intriguing And Unique: The Walnut Residence

Walnut-Residence-7

It’s time for seeing something pretty unique that offers something that you rarely find on regular houses. The special house that I’m referring to is known as the Walnut Residence and is situated in Venice, California, the sunny state of USA. It was designed by Modal Design and will capture anyone’s attention due to its exterior coating, which consists in a perforated cor-ten steel that has an interesting pattern which adds an unique appearance to both its exterior, but especially to its interior.
The rays of light enter the house and create an intriguing, decorative game of circles between lights and shadows which makes this home’s aesthetics one of the most interesting that I’ve seen so far. The home’s name comes from its surrounding walnuts which can be admired through the floor to ceiling windows that secondly dominate the home – the first defining element being the cor-ten skin. Its pattern is reflected by another important accessory of the home: its staircase.
