A Residence From Travessa Do Patricinio Is Dressed In Plants

Travessa-de-Patricinio-House-1

If you’re into nature inspired designs for homes, l am pretty sure that you’ll fall in love with a residence from Travessa do Patrocinio, Lisbon, Portugal. Its entire façade is covered with a coating made from… plants. That’s right, this house doesn’t have a regular garden, but one that grows on it. The ones who deserve appreciation for this project are Luis and Tiago Rebelo de Andrade and Manuel Cachao Moniz, as their collaboration is a magnificent piece of architecture and I will go even further and say that it can also be considered a work of art.
The three-storey house sits on a narrow spot, so the architects focused on organizing the living places by rising them on a vertical plan. The home is simplist and chic on the inside and is bathed in natural sunlight and natural fragrances that come from the vegetation that paints the outside walls. Beautiful!
