The Picot Residence: An Open Plan With Bold Colors And A Lot Of Style

Picot-Residence-6

As I’ve recently talked about some spectacular New York homes, I’ve become quite fond of observing the urban lifestyle and especially of admiring those amazing views over one of greatest cities in the world. Today I’m going to say a few words about the Picot Residence, a lovely home designed by Pepe Calderin Design that impresses with its bold color tones, but the really interesting thing about it is that it doesn’t have doors. Yeap, that’s right, the natural movement through the spaces goes smoothly, yet the open plan of the house doesn’t interfere with the owners’ need of privacy.
The eye catching colors that define the rooms contrast with the bedroom, which is dominated by an impeccable appearance due to its white fittings and furnishings. All the chic color tones are beautifully enhanced by the natural light which enters through the large floor to ceiling windows. These also reveal some astonishing views over the city, which are the final “accessories” for making this extremely elegant and sophisticated apartment a real dream home.
