Cheerful And Welcoming: The Timber Home By Sturgess Architecture

Timber-Home-1

The team of architects and designers from Calgary-based studio Sturgess Architecture have completed a lovely country residence which is known as the Timber Home. Located on Bowen Island, British Colombia, this cheerful looking piece of architecture spoils its inhabitants with some lovely panoramic views over the near-by water and greenery.

Its design blends in with its surroundings through the natural materials that define it, such as wood and glass. The traditional appearance makes everyone feel nice and cozy, as they’re embraced by a warm and cheerful atmosphere given by the pleasing color palette and rustic elements. The home is divided in two volumes and belongs to a couple and their two kids, but is capable of hosting several guests under its roof.
