The Brahler Residence Blends In With The Natural Landscape

Brahler-Residence-1

The Brahler Residence is an impressive renovation project developed and finished in 2011 by the team from Robert Maschke Architects. It is situated in Bay Village, Ohio, USA and has an intriguing appearance that I personally love, as it borrows a lot of design elements from its natural surroundings.
The customer requested the team to preserve the traditional cottage look and improve the century-old clad structure by adding more open spaces brightened up by natural light. Said and done. The home has been significantly improved and now features a modern design that defines its living spaces which include a new master suite, gallery and some entertaining spaces. The home stands on a slope and follows its natural shape, but the most impressive fact is that its fa├žade and several exterior surfaces are embellished with vegetation. The inside is dominated by large windows and natural materials, such as wood, concrete, stone and glass. The interiors are very warm and cozy.
